It seems to be that time of year for me where I just run out of everything all at once, especially in the skin care department. I wanted to have a little run down on some of the products I have used up!
Eyesilix by Indeed laboratories has been a favourite of mine for a long time. This eye cream is designed to awaken the skin cells and improve turn over to keep eyes bright and well as keep the elastin strong to help with ageing skin. I have really enjoyed using this product for a long time. I don’t notice a huge difference with my skin, but hey, I’m 22 and don’t have any really ageing problems as of yet so we will see. I may repurchase this in the future but for the moment I want to try something new.
The Origins GinZing range is so highly spoken about when I first gave it a go I was expecting amazing things, and while these products are really nice I didn’t get the hype. The daily moisturiser is a nice water based cream that sits nicely on the skin. I was much more of a fan of this in the summer time because in winter I wanted a little more hydration. Again I may grab this again sometime in the future but I want to dabble in a few more things first.
Trying out the GinZing eye cream was a new experience for me, it is a little thicker than the creams I had tried before and it also has that interesting brightening tint to it that highlights the under eye area. I do still really like this cream, it is hydrating and rich but perhaps not best suited to my skin type. I always apply a glowy primer to my skin as well so sometimes I felt like the eye cream as well was a little too much.
A few months back everyone and their cat was talking about the Clinique Moisture Surge cream and so being the junkie I am I had to give it a go. Again this didn’t quite live up to hype, but they never do. I really liked this as a day cream, you could use it as a night cream but I am too in love with my antipodes to change that up for now. This is the product I am most likely to pick up again because its great for travel because it can be used night and day.
