Red & White
Lets get back to tradition for a minute shall we, well Coca Cola tradition anyway.
Quick history lesson: Santa Claus was a featured member of the Coca Cola Company advertisements from the mid 1920’s onwards but in a very different way then we know him today. In 1930 an artist working for them created the jolly, white bearded, red and white clothed character that is still used in western culture today, so really the Christmas colours are just Coke colours.
Although this is one of the oldest Christmas themes ever it is an oldie but a goody, and why not have a through back to something more classic in the crazy Holiday field of 2015.
Red and White can be used in any number of ways, modern, cozy or more traditional to warm up the home environment and better yet, it is one of the easiest to do. Because it is such a normal theme it is very easy to find all sorts of decorations and there are plenty of options for mixing things up.
I think this best way to make this theme work is but mixing colours, patterns and textures to break up the palette and mix in a combination of really greenery to create a richer environment.
