Holy Moly, I have found my current colour obsession. 2015 really was the year rose gold dominated in the homewares department so why not make 2016 the year that you wear rose gold/copper on your eyes everyday, thats my plan anyway!
While I don’t think MAC shadows are bad I do think they are incredibly over priced for what they are so I tend to hold back and only purchase them if I am head over heals, and this was one of those cases. I had gone to the MAC counter to check out the shade ‘Cranberry’ which I still love and want but I was totally enthralled by the shade ‘Coppering’ and knew that was the one that was coming home with me.
This shadow is incredibly pigmented but not to thick or chunky, meaning no fall out which is great because who wants red under eyes? I love doing this colour all the way around with a thick black liner for an intense effect or blending it with a gold in the inner corner for a sunset eye effect perfect for any day.
I use the orange shade from the Stila ‘Eye’s are the Window’ Palette in ‘Mind’ to easily blend out the edges and warm up the eye.
