A recent hyped launch from Nars was the Audacious Mascara, which is the second launch in the Audacious range, following on from the Lipsticks (which are amazing). As of yet we have not heard wether this collection will continue to grow and include more stand out products but personally I hope so.
This mascara is marketed as a Long-wearing, separating and lifting mascara which includes a conditioning agent that is designed to strengthen your lashes with each use. This product is also designed to be layer-able to build up with each application or reapplication throughout the day. Currently the mascara only comes in one shade, ‘Black Moon’.
This mascara is a winner in the High-end department for me, however I am still a bigger fan of drugstore mascaras as a whole. This mascara is a very black mascara which is easy to apply to the top lashes, and not too hard to apply to the lower lashes. It is very lengthening and very lifting on my lashes, however I find that it is not always the most separating, not that it is clumpy but it just doesn’t give my lashes the ‘fluffy’ look I like to go for.
I do really enjoy layering or reapplying this mascara throughout the day because it doesn’t clump or look to heavy with reapplication which is very handy for taking your look from day to night.
For $39.00AUD this is on the lower-middle side of the price range in the High-end Mascara category which is good if you don’t want to fork out $50.00AUD+ for another brand.
